LEGOS are just one of those toys that almost every child gets under the tree at some point during their childhood. I get it. They’re iconic in many ways. They have that amazing LEGO store that you can experience and you can build just about anything with them. I get it.
Like LEGOS, I also have those Disney characters and other trademark toys that just don’t go with the rest of my decor. “Sorry kids, but your Paw Patrol bed set just doesn’t scream Farmhouse!”
This project was finished about a year ago when a mamma of four won the Christmas giveaway that I posted on social media. I absolutely loved her request when she asked for a LEGO inspired room for her son. She specifically requested a tasteful LEGO room that matched the rest of her home’s style. I love it! I am sooo like that, too. I know you’ve been there.
When you decorate your child’s room, it doesn’t have to scream Frozen or Mickey Mouse. All of those bright colors, yikes! This space does scream LEGOS in a very tasteful way. Both mom and son get a space that they can enjoy.
What do you think? Do you ever struggle to match your children’s decor to the rest of your home’s design style?
