Spelling Curriculum Review: Spelling Power and Spelling By Sound & Structure

Spelling Curriculum Review(1)

It’s that time of year when my brain is simply fried, friends! Fried. It’s also that time of year when I consider what I’m going to be utilizing for curriculum next year because schooling is still somewhat fresh in my mind, ish!

I created this post because I actually gain a lot of value from watching other honest reviews of curriculum content online. It’s not always possible to find a hard copy to look through so watching videos has really helped direct some schooling decisions for us.

Whether you are a seasoned veteran or just beginning your homeschooling journey, we are all looking for the right curriculum that suits the needs of our children. Here’s my honest review of the spelling curriculums that we have used.

Watch the video for a complete review on the content listed below:

  • Program contents
  • Program cost
  • How to use the curriculum
  • Pros/Cons
  • My personal opinion of both

Like many of you, I have spent a lot of time researching curriculum that will work for our family, and I have liked both of these choices. I’ve decided to continue next year with Spelling by Sound and Structure. You’ll just have to watch the video to find out why! Again, if you want full details elaborating on both programs, you will have to watch the video.

If you scroll down, you can view up-close images of the materials mentioned in the video.
